Listed below are the steps to treatment:

  • Evaluation Process

When you first meet with a professional from Impressions Pediatric Therapy, we conduct a thorough and careful evaluation of your child that is tailored to the concerns that prompted the referral. Each evaluation utilizes objective and standardized measures, whenever possible. In addition to the formal assessment of your child, we also want to hear from you, the parents. Nobody knows your child better than you do, and your perceptions and observations are an invaluable component in developing an effective treatment plan.

Evaluations vary from child to child, depending on age, capabilities, or physical or mental development. However, every evaluation is conducted in a manner that minimizes stress for the child. And, we hope, an experience that the child enjoys.

  • Customized Therapy Plan

Our team of therapists will then meet to review the results of the evaluation and develop an individualized therapy plan to help the child achieve the success desired in as short and productive, a time-frame as possible.

  • Physician Agreement

The child's custom therapy plan is then sent to your referring physician for review and approval. Once approved, therapy can commence. We contact the parent or guardian to get your child scheduled to start.

  • Patient Forms

Prior to your first visit to Impressions Pediatric Therapy, you will be asked to fill out the following forms. These forms help us understand more about your child, so we can determine the best possible way to be of help to both of you. For your convenience, you may download them here:  Registration Forms
